We would like to make this farmhouse into something useful for our society, for example, a recreation centre for people who have mental illnesses or troubles getting along with others. These little centres already exists in larger towns, but in Torre De’ Roveri there is none of them. There will be workshops, recreation activities and theatres as well. The lawn could be used to make a small kitchen garden and also to build a henhouse for chickens. In this way, the garden products, such as vegetables or eggs, will be sold in small markets. Simple vegetables could be planted in this garden, such as tomatoes, carrots, eggplants, strawberries, lettuce and other products typical of northern Italy. In this centre, all the people would be able to express their personalities in the best way possible; they would choose their favourite activities in order to improve their own life skills. For example, they would be able to choose between painting, sewing, sports laboratories, etc. They would live together and be followed by psychologists and experts.
